ABOUT THE PROJECT
The instrumentation on this album is primarily electronic, with the occasional injection of ‘real’ instruments including bass, electric and acoustic guitars, piano and acoustic percussion instruments such as cymbals, tambourines and shakers. A major element of the sound of the album is the analogue Moog One Synthesiser, performing everything from drum sounds, bass lines, warm pads, distorted leads and soaring melodic hooks. Blended with this are classic keyboard sounds such as the Hammond B3 Organ, Wurlitzer and Fender Rhodes electric pianos and the Mellotron. Hudson also uses modern vocal techniques which manipulate pitch, rhythm, distortion and tuning.
This album consists of 12 main track titles with one-liner vocal hooks, instrumental versions (no lead vocal), underscores, 30 second and sting cuts.
